12 Most Obsessed Ways of Showing your Pinsanity for Pinterest

Pinsanity: when you have lost all sense of space and time as you keep pin, pin, pinning away!

Here are some signs that you may have gone a little too far with your Pinterest addiction and pinsanity as set in.

 

1. You forget to feed your family because you are busy pinning recipes

2. You have no clean clothes to wear yet have a virtual closet on Pinterest that would rival JLo

3. Date? What date?

4. Your Facebook friends are dropping like flies because you post all your pins on Facebook

5. You wish for secret pin boards so you could pin everything you really like

6. Your everyday talk is peppered with phrases like “Omigod, I would totally pin that”

7. You have birthday parties planned for the first ten years of your children’s lives. But you don’t have any children yet

8. You have Pinterest on your smartphone so you never miss a thing

9.Your hair is in a messy bun because you can’t master any of the styles on your boards

10.Your ideal man is a combination of all the men you’ve pinned and no real man could ever live up to it

11. Your cat is neglected because you are busy pinning cat pictures

12. Frequently overheard at your house: “just one more pin…”

The very worst is of course #11. Shuko and Braun circle my keyboard when the cat pins are more prevalent than the cat food. However there is a good side to obsessive "pinning" and I asked one designer why she seemed to pin 24/7 (and I think she actually did) and she said it helped her lose weight, as she was too busy pinning to eat pretzels!
