12 Most Lively Lifestyle Blogs

12 Most Lively Lifestyle Blogs

Even those of us who are totally enthralled with our work, those of us who would do what we do for free… even we have to lighten up periodically and attend to the other parts of our psyche and souls. “All work and no play make Jack a dull boy.” Indeed! And Jill a boring girl.

In an era when we have become much more interested in being and becoming holistic and wholesome creatures, there are many sites available to us that can feed and nurture us, when we are not at 12 Most.

Here are a few of my favorites.

1. Tiny Buddha

Simple wisdom for complex lives.

2. Big Think

Life, leadership, worldview, new concepts in thought and science.

3. SoulSeeds

Inspiration, affirmation and uplifting articles.

4. A Holy Experience

Life, living and the pursuit of grace.

5. BlogBrevity

Cutting edge social media news and links, inspiration.

6. Dumb Little Man: Tips for Life

Goal setting and achievement.

7. I am second

Sports heroes, super-stars and ordinary people share an episode from their faith journey.

8. LifeHacker

Tips, instructions and help with getting through life.

9. Marc and Angel Hack Life

Practical tips for productive living, and practical wisdom for life.

10. People of the Second Chance

Stories of life-changing second chances.

11. TED talks

Ideas worth spreading from all areas of life.

12. You are not so smart

A celebration of self-delusion — a look at how we delude ourselves and an investigation of the many things we take for granted.

Only by exploring the depths of who we are on many different levels can we hope to continue to grow as individuals. Wandering down these other trails and paths helps restore our sense of wonder and enlightenment in a jaded time. And, you will stumble across something miraculous that can and will be incorporated into the way you look at your life, your world and your work.

When you wander away from work on the internet, what sites do you like to visit?

Many of these are new to me. Although Ted Talks, best thing every I think. It has allowed everyone access to ideas and we need that kind of inspiration to make good things happen.

Yes, we all need inspiration in our lives, and TED certainly provides that well. Thanks for leaving a comment.

Great list. Even found some new sites I didn't know about.

Funnily enough, just last week I was trying to figure out what exactly classified as a lifestyle blog.

@newdaynewlesson Thanks for checking out the list. I'm not sure exactly what the term means either, but for most of us I think its those things we tend to think of as being outside of business and perhaps faith. But they actually filter into those as well.

Thanks again,

Martina
