Hey there Eileen! I am so late to the party! For some reason, I never got this in my RSS feed. Thanks so much for the shout out, and the kind words. You are the best!
12 Most Grape-Induced Wine Blogs
I’ve been drinking wine long before the internet or blogs were invented. Like fine wine, I’ve evolved with the times and now turn to the internet and blogs to get my fill of wine advice, news and commentaries.
Here are 12 blogs I turn to often to broaden my wine horizons.
1. A New Vine
Mike LeFever @anewvine — Poetry and wine; a great pairing. Mike writes his blog in prose. You won’t find wine reviews or tasting notes, but the insightful thoughts from a vineyard manager, wine lover and traveler.
2. The Grape Belt
Tom Riley @grapebelt — A wine writer and educator who encourages the exploration of wine with a sometimes snarky take on the characters he runs into in his wine world.
3. Enoflyz
Martin Redmond @martindredmond — A self described Wine Drinkin’ Fool and fellow 12 Most writer. I enjoy his writing and the approachable style his blog has.
4. My Vine Spot
Dezel Quinlin @myvinespot — The Godfather of Virginia Wineries, Dezel’s blog is your first stop when you are planning a Virginia Wine Trail trip.
5. The Drunken Cyclist
@masi3v — A wine blogger, bike rider and family man, his posts give us a look into his very active life and how he makes it all balance… with wine of course!
6. Talk-A-Vino
Anatoli Levine @talkavino — Here you’ll find the author talking about wine, not just posting tasting notes and bottle shots; a lot of conversation and education! His blog features a quiz which is a lot of fun.
7. Veni! Vidi! Vino!
@NJVinoman — Writing incognito to protect his personal identity and his day job, I turn to his blog for some interesting sips.
8. Life of Vines
Marie Payton @mariepayton — A winelover and another 12 Most writer who has boundless energy. The host of a weekly wine chat on Twitter, she as all the world of wine at her disposal!
9. Cuvee Corner
Bill Eyer @cuvee_corner — Wine, food, travel… Bill’s got it all covered.
10. The Reverse Wine Snob
Jon Thorsen @ReverseWineSnob — He thumbs his nose at wines priced over $20. I read his blog to keep up with the “crowd pleasing” wines.
11. 1 Wine Dude
Joe Roberts @1WineDude — Wine quizzes and in depth reviews on an all around, good reading blog.
12. Champagne Taste
Jacqueline Malenda @jacswineblog — When I need a fix on Long Island wines, I hit up Jacqueline’s blog.
Which wine blogs are your favorites? I’d love to know!
